Dr. Bill Carriger grew up in Topeka. He graduated from Topeka West High School, and then earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Washburn University, and his Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University.
He serves as an elder of the Central church of Christ in Topeka, and serves on the Tallgrass Christian Camp Board of Directors as well as the Board of Trustees. He gets to play with the kids as Activity Director for the Middle School Camp session every summer.
In his spare time, he farms in Wabaunsee County.
Dr. Diana Carriger grew up in Bloomington, IN. She earned both her undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degrees at Indiana University. She serves on the Board of Directors for Tallgrass Christian Camp, and is a Bible class teacher at Central church of Christ and for the Middle School session each year at Tallgrass Christian Camp. She volunteers as the reservation clerk for the camp.
The Carrigers are avid canoeists and have made over 25 trips to the Quetico Wilderness Canoe Area in Ontario, Canada. They have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
